NEW MHP INVESTOR MEETUP GROUP
We're building up a Meetup Community in Pleasanton CA (San Francisco Bay Area) with the intention of reaching out to investors with hard-to-find information about Mobile Home Parks. MHPs are one of the hottest segments on the investment landscape. Yet it's very difficult to find a good one, and to figure out how to run it. We will be sharing our secrets with our Meetup Members once every month in and around the Bay Area.

WE KNOCK IT OUT OF THE PARK AT REI EXPOS IN DALLAS & ANAHEIM!
As you may recall, the crew at headed down to the HiltonAnaheim (right across from Disneyland no less), where we had a booth and conducted a one-hour seminar at the Real Estate Investment Expo (REI). REI Expos puts on 4 such events each year in different parts of the country, Chicago, Baltimore, Dallas, and for the first time, Anaheim. Inside the Hilton's huge exhibition hall, there were 4o-plus booths from vendors of all sorts, from lenders and self-directed IRAs to tax liens and investor clubs. The 2-day event was $149 per person and included dozens of one-hour seminars from speakers on a wide variety of investment topics.
We were one of two speakers on the subject of Mobile Home Parks. The other one spoke before we did and so we attended his seminar. We agreed with just about everything he said. He's been at it for a few years now, and has a couple of very nice parks. But we've done hundred or more. We hit it off, and now we're helping him look for a park. These REI Expos are not selling venues. They're meant to be purely informational. Our role there was to share our vast knowledge of MHPs with the audience of real estate investors who were there to learn.
Interest and response was so great that REI asked us back to their Dallas Expo a few months later, and we rocked the place! By this time, we'd optimized our methods for the Expo, our booth was better (and busier), we talked to even more people with even more interest in MHPs, and our classes were the best-attended and most-talked about at the Dallas Expo. We definitely felt that the word about MHPs had spread and was no longer a closely-guarded secret in the hands of a few savvy investors. Everyone has heard about the tremendous investment potential of MHPs. They just don't know where to go, or who to talk. That's where we come in.
